Ms. Nicole Lahman started at the National Security Agency (NSA) as a Cooperative Education student from Towson University in 2013. She graduated from Towson in 2015 with a B.S. in Math and Computer Science. After she started working in R22/Secure Systems Architecture and Analysis Office as a researcher in formal methods where she studied tools for verifying cryptographic algorithms. She has mentored/co-mentored 10 interns in her four years. Additionally, Ms. Lahman is the managing editor of the Journal of Sensitive Cyber Research and Engineering (JSCORE), a peer -reviewed classified cyber security journal. She organizes NSA visits from the selected winners of the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. Her interests outside of the agency include her pets and running. Ms. Lahman has volunteered her time and home to foster dogs prior to their adoption on several occasions.
